Facilities
at the University of Central Florida

Two-Photon Microscopy, Microfabrication, and Photochemistry Lab
This laboratory features a laser scanning confocal microscopy system interfaced to a solid state, frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser that pumps a Ti:sapphire laser, tunable from 700 -1000 nm and a state-of-the-art luminescence spectroscopy and lifetime equipment for linear and nonlinear optical characterization and dynamics studies.

Hybrid Systems Lab
The Hybrid Systems Lab is located on the fourth floor of the Research Pavilion, in UCF's Research Park. It includes Cell Culture, Electrophysiology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry labs, as well as a Lithography System, Multi Electrode Array, and Goniometer.

College of Optics and Photonics Labs
The research facilities of College of Optics and Photonics faculty span the spectrum from basic science and physics of optics, photonics, and related phenomena, to prototype development and demonstration of feasibility in applications. The main facilities of the COP are housed in a state-of-the-art building dedicated to optics and photonics research and education, including Laser Plasma, Optical Diagnostics and Applications, Infrared Systems, Ultrafast Photonics, Nanophotonics Systems Fabrication, Nonlinear Optics, Laser Aided Materials Processing, Diffractive and Holographic Optics, Optical Design & Image Analysis, Photonic Information Processing Systems, Photonics & Display, Laser System Development, and Optical Glass Sciences & Photo-Induced Processing labs.
